No.2 Geological map of the tin mining area Ehrenfriedersdorf/Geyer 1: 25 000
Description
The map sheet presents a modern geological map 1: 25 000 (in the AV leaf section). It includes the classic mid-ore mountains tin ore deposits of Geyer and Ehrenfriedersdorf. From the southeast there are still foothills of the Annaberg mountain area on the map sheet. The map back provides information about mining history, geological development and important geological excursion points. Also included in the mining monograph “The Zinnerz deposit area Ehrenfriedersdorf/Erzgebirge” (Mining in Saxony, vol.1).
