Melioration line elements
Description
The data set contains discharges (from drainage surfaces), individual routes, water pipes and power lines that have been built since about 1890 by a combination of goods / regulation, modern melioration or individual melioration. The construction of these melioration plants was supported by the federal government and the canton with contributions. On the parcels in which a melioration plant runs, a regulatory note or a right of passage is usually entered in the land register. The note includes: Reimbursement obligation, prohibition of misuse, maintenance obligation (according to the Federal and Cantonal Agriculture Act). With the introduction of the construction zones and the Construction Act, this note is no longer necessary for discharges in the construction zones. The respective resident communities (in individual cases also maintenance cooperatives) are owners of these community derivatives. They are also responsible for following up the management plans. At the Department of Agriculture Aargau, however, the execution plans (not followed up) with the status at the time of construction are still available as Tif files.
