Areas vulnerable to nitrate pollution (Four-Year Report 2008-2011. Dir 91/676/EEC) reported to the European Commission in the quadrennial report 2008-2011 in response to Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources ("Nitrates Directive") . For the elaboration of the layer, the specifications of the European Commission are met.
