Level of protection of regional flood defences of Riverland Water Board
Description
The province of Utrecht sets a standard for the level of protection of regional flood defences. These barriers are under management at the Water Board (Waterschap Rivierenland). This was done in the Decree of Provincial States of Utrecht of 26 October 2009, of Gelderland of 23 September 2009, of Zuid-Holland of 14 October 2009 and of Noord-Brabant of 20 November 2009 on a comprehensive review of the regulations for the Water Board of Rivierenland with regard to water management. Revision 2018 is laid down in the decree of provincial states of Utrecht of 10 December 2018, of Gelderland of 7 December 2018 and of Noord-Brabant of 19 December 2018. Changes will take effect from 1-1-2019.
