Urban waste water treatment; process data waste water treatment
Description
This table provides information on the functioning of the treatment process of urban waste water treatment plants: the input and output of contaminants, the purification efficiency achieved and the average values of a number of specific process parameters (=variable with which the purification process can be controlled and optimised).
The data are available for the following selections:
- type of treatment plant
- type and form of management of surface water discharged.
The data can also be displayed per river basin district.
As of 2017, data on heavy metals and process parameters will only be collected in even years.
Data available from: 1981.
Status of figures:
The figures in this table are final.
Changes as of 22 April 2024:
Figures for 2022 have been added to the table.
When will there be new figures?
The new figures for 2023 will be published in March 2025.
