Maximum temperature: average temperature of the warmest month highs (Co)
Description
The map Maximum temperature: average temperature of the maximums of the warmest month (Co), belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information. The map of maximum temperature corresponds to a model of the maximum temperatures of the warmest month represented through a map of hyposometric inks, in which each region of Spain is characterized according to the maximum temperature it reaches, less than 20oC, 20oC - 24oC, 24oC - 28oC, 28oC - 32oC, 32oC - 36oC, more than 36oC. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food using geostatistical interpolation (kriging) methods from data from 1803 stations belonging to the network of the former National Institute of Meteorology (current State Meteorological Agency – AEMET).
