Description
WCS service of the set of satellite images AQUA MODIS filtered seasonal averages of the historical series of chlorophyll-a for the period 2000-2010. spatial resolution 1100 m. Scope Atlantic Ocean and Alboran Sea. In ETRS89 UTM spindle 30. With the purpose of obtaining the average behavior of chlorophyll (mg/cm3), in the Andalusian coast, through the calculation of the seasonal averages of the historical series. This parameter allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of biological activity, in addition to being used as an instrument for monitoring eutrophication processes in the marine environment.
