Description

The WMS interface service is intended to monitor the implementation of the measures of the Turku Region MAL Agreement signed in June 2020 and to illustrate the regional dimensions of the measures. (Note! The follow-up section of the measures is not yet available. This feature of the material will be implemented later) The data consists of six different map layers. The first five map layers divide the 42 MAL measures in line with the sub-themes into their own levels. The 6th Map Level presents measures in the MAL Agreement related to long-term development objectives. Each map has its own theme color. The measures are presented at the map layers in line with their regional dimensions. Measures that can be presented as demarcated areas on the map are described in the map planes with polygons. The lines show, for example, the measures related to you, and the points describe point-like measures. Not all measures can be clearly presented on the map in the above-mentioned ways. Such measures are associated with square symbols in all the municipalities to which those measures relate. Information on the measure can be obtained by tapping the digitisation of the measure on the map. The data was produced by the Regional Council of Southwest Finland. Most of the material is either compiled from other materials of the Regional Council of Southwest Finland or digitised on the basis of data from the Regional Council of Southwest Finland. In addition, the following materials have been used in the production of the material, which are either open or deliberately distributed for the production of this material: Open materials: The National Land Survey of Finland – Administrative Boards 2020 | SYKE – Urban Structure Zones 2017 | SYKE, Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres) – Urban Planned Area 2018 -Föli – Föllari City Bike Stations – All the open materials used are under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) and have been downloaded from data providers’ download services or interfaces in June-August 2020. Material received: Southwest Finland Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment – Turku Region Cycling Routes | City of Turku – Tramway Route Plan | City of Turku – Kupitaan Core Plan The material is available to everyone in the southwestern data map service without registration and free of charge. The material can be presented outside the map service as long as the source is clearly acknowledged. The material is not available for download.
