Development plan No. 18 — Special area Bahnhofsvorplatz — City Großräschen
Description
On a part of the former IFA estate, a fallow area in front of the station building, the Building Plan No. 18 created building rights for large-scale retail functions in 2009. In order to ensure a more extensive supply of quality-oriented goods in the city centre, the resettlement of a full food range in the central supply area became necessary. Furthermore, the centre of the city and the development axis Bahnhof — IBA-Terrassen were strengthened.
