Cycling network

"Radnetzplanung aus offen Daten" was one of the projects of the Mobility Hacks 2021 of the city of Konstanz. The event was part of the Interreg Alpine Space project "DEAS - Data Economy Alps Strategy" and was funded by the European Union.

The challenge of the project was to merge and analyse available open data for better analysis of cycling. The dataset was generated from open data from various sources (Open Data Constance, MobiData and Open Street Map). On this portal you will find various shape files in a ZIP file, which can be read in common GIS programs, as well as in a PDF explanations of the data set.

Note: When using this data, please note that it is not official cycling network data of the city of Konstanz. These are the results of a pilot project for the visualization and analysis of cycling data.
