Heavy rain hazard maps (WMS) 2021 Frankfurt am Main

Description

In order to determine the potential danger from heavy rain, heavy rain hazard maps were drawn up on behalf of the Environment Agency Frankfurt am Main. The cards contain two essential aspects: The maximum flooding depth and maximum flow velocity. Both are the result of an ‘uncoupled hydraulic 2-D surface simulation’. The heavy rain hazard maps show locations threatened by flooding in Frankfurt am Main. This enables all interested parties to take appropriate precautionary measures.
