Description
The need for the number of safety inspections depends, among other things, on the following factors:
• Train speed
• Traffic load
Type of traffic, e.g. dangerous goods
• Climatic and environmental conditions
• Geotechnical conditions
• Technical construction
• Built-in functional safety
* Age and quality.
In order to simplify, they work with a generalised division into inspection classes based on speed and traffic load.
All establishments shall be placed in one of the inspection classes.
Taking into account, inter alia, the other factors mentioned above, the decision on a higher
inspection classification and/or higher inspection frequency are taken. However, the classification of speed and traffic loads is a minimum level for the installation.
The data product Inspection class trajectory contains information on the track inspection class where all object types connected to the runway part have at least this inspection class. If the inspection class differs from that of the runway, it is indicated in the details of the individual plant/item.
The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the network with reference from node to node in the direction of the track link.
