Average annual groundwater regeneration (HAD)
Description
Map 5.5 shows the average annual groundwater formation of the period 1961-1990 as a grid field representation in resolution 1 km². The values are below 25 mm/a in northeastern Germany and over 500 mm/a in the high altitudes of the Alps. The shown classes are 25 mm/a for values below 100 mm/a and 50 mm/a for the range up to 300 mm/a.
