Outcome documentation of the topic workshops for the development of the Austrian Circular Economy Strategy.
Description
As part of the development of the Austrian Circular Economy Strategy 2050, concrete proposals for measures were developed through the broad involvement of actors from business, civil society, administration and science. Between May and June 2021, nine thematic workshops took place in which around 250 participants developed more than 600 concrete proposals for measures to establish and improve the circular economy in Austria. The focus was on the topics of waste management, construction, biomass, electrical and electronic equipment, consumption and use, plastics, mobility, textiles and packaging.This report summarises the results of the workshops and lays the foundation for a future programme of measures aimed at reconciling the added value of resources and social and environmental aspects.
