Description
This map shows in simplified form the loose and solid rocks of northern Upper Lusatia in the area between Görlitz, Löbau, Weißenberg and Niesky. Tectonic disturbances are only shown in this map sheet where they are recognizable on the earth's surface or form the boundary of different rocks. Regionally, the area of the map sheet lies in the area of the Lusatian Antiklinalzone and the Görlitzer Synklinorium (Görlitzer Schiefergebirge). The geological subsoil is characterized by granitoid rocks and the Lusatian greywacke. On the back explanation.
