Damage from pollution. Severity of ecological damage by medium fuel oil
Description
Information on the potential ecological damage caused by average fuel oil per unit length of coastline (UDE/km) that could be overcome once every 1000 years. It is part of the State Plan for the Protection of Ribera del Mar against Pollution, which is a contingency plan for serious pollution events on the coast that is part of the National Response System to Accidental Marine Pollution, and has been approved by Order AAA/702/2014. The layer represents the Severity of Ecological Damage, by average fuel, which is exceeded with a frequency of once every 1000 years. A common scale has been chosen on all fronts and all hydrocarbons to represent the Severity of Ecological Damage, ranging from 0 to 80, at intervals of ten to ten units of damage.
