Sand-bearing device

Description

The data cover railways owned by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data source system is the Track Object Management Application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Information Management System. A sand-bearing device is a device that can be used to add sand to a locomotive's sand-bearing device. The number, type, owner, date of commissioning, condition information/additional information and status of use (in use, not in use, not known) as well as location-related track identification, track-kilometre location and location estimation are provided. The sand delivery device is part of the services and equipment of the railway yard.
