Radiometry – anomalous areas (ANUZ)
Description
Maps of radiometrically anomalous areas (ANUZ) should give a basic idea of the radiation load of individual regional units and evaluate the contribution of found anomalous objects to increase radiation load. This depends mainly on the primary concentration of uranium, structural-tectonic structure of the area, the depth of the source, the permeability of soils, etc. The assessment of the measured area in terms of radiation load is divided into three categories – high, medium and low radio-ecological loads.
