Pulmankijoki river bed height data 2005
Description
The height data of the Pulmankijoki river bed, which has been used to model the flow conditions of the Pulmankijoki river. Elevation values have been checked in field studies. The data includes elevations, elevation curves and a TIN model. Pulmankijoki’s stream is a few hundred metres wide, six kilometres upstream of Pulmankijärvi. The material has been produced for the thesis of the Department of Geography at the University of Turku. More information about the Master’s thesis: Lindvall, V. The elevation point data have been created from RTK-GPS points, curve data from elevation points and BasicCD elevation curves and TIN model from advanced height curves. The accuracy of elevation data is 5-10 cm, height curves and TIN model 20-50 cm. Keep in mind that the channel is changing all the time.
