Measurement campaign MudMeas: Turbulence in Fluid Mud
Description
As part of the MudMeas measurement campaign, a measurement of turbulence in the fluid mud at Weener in the Unterems was carried out in September 2021. For this purpose, point measurements with depth profiles were carried out on FK LITTORINA in cooperation with the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. Flow velocity and direction, salinity, density, temperature, dissipation rate and turbulent kinetic energy were determined using ADCP, CTD, OBS and RSI micropods.
