The content includes vector files with the geographical scope of the Iberian Imperial Eagle Recovery Plan in Andalusia. The scope is defined as the totality of the current distribution area of the imperial eagle, as well as those potential areas that are considered necessary to meet the objectives established by this Plan for the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. The official source of reference relating to the location and geographical delimitation of the scope of the Plan as well as the species will be the Environmental Information Network (REDIAM) of the Ministry of the Environment, which, in turn, will act as an instrument for public access to information relating to the scope of the Plan. The information relating to the scope of the Plan may be amended by the Ministry responsible for the environment following a report from the Andalusian Biodiversity Council.
The Plan is valid indefinitely until the established purpose is achieved and may be subject to review when substantial variations in the conservation status of the species, its habitats or the causes that put its survival at risk occur and are known.
Instrument of approval: Agreement of 18 January 2011 of the Governing Council approving the recovery and conservation plans for certain protected wild species and habitats. Boja No 25 of 5 February 2011.
