Report: “Environmental Monitoring Kronos Titan — Monitoring 2006.”
Description
Since 1969, wastewater from TiO2 production has been discharged into the Weser fatigue at the height of Bremerhaven. Zoobenthos studies have been carried out at permanent stations above and below the discharge site since 1975 to monitor the ecological effects. Since 1985, sediment, zoobenthos and vegetation samples have been investigated for possible enrichment with metals.
The results of the 2006 permanent investigations are summarised in this report.”
