Description
“As part of this work, an inventory of the macrozoobenthos of the Rysumer Neck Wadden area located in the Ems-Dollart estuary was carried out. This wadding area is characterised by extensive flushing measures and by an unusually high sludge. [...] All wattypes from sand to mixed watts are present, but predominant are fine sand sediments and mixed-watt sediments. The results of this thesis show that the population of fauna in areas not directly affected by the purge measures does not differ from comparable other estuary areas. [...]»
