“This project aims to establish the basis for the development of an evaluation scheme for the assessment of the status of the transitional and coastal waters of the German North Sea coast [...] The aim of literature studies and data research in national and international databases is to provide a complete overview of the sizing of historical data or background and remote forces for the above-mentioned characteristics and their temporal and spatial variability in the transitional and coastal waters. [...] In this interim report, first of all, the state of knowledge of the parameter complex “nutritive salts” as well as in this regard specifically and in principle also on the possibility of using databases for the question of this project [...]”
