Report: ‘EUROPIPE: Environmental accompanying studies – Endobenthos Sublitoral – Annual Report 1995»
Description
In the course of 1994, the company “Den Norks Stats Oljeselskap” (STATOIL) operated the landing of two gas pipelines from the Norwegian natural gas fields to the Lower Saxony mainland. In the area of the Lower Saxony coast, the pipelines have passed through the catchment area of the Accumer Ee and thus also through the area of the National Park “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea”. [...] Since 1994, the Coastal Research Centre of the Lower Saxony State Office for Ecology has carried out the surveys to the subproject “Endobenthos im Sublitoral”. Twice a year, in spring and early autumn, three parallel samples with a van Veen jaw gripper were collected at up to 78 stations, evaluated and the results presented in annual reports. The present report presents the results of the investigation of 1995.
