Description
The establishment of new industries at the Weser fatigue gave rise to a series of chemical and biological investigations aimed at providing material on the state of the estuary before the discharge of larger amounts of wastewater, thus laying the foundations for future inspections. [...] A first biological contribution (MICHAELIS 1971) dealt with the forms of creation plankton in taxonomic and autecological terms. The second part of the study now contains the quantitative results. The spatial distribution and composition of the plankton are displayed and the seasonal gait for each haline zone is tracked. [...]
