The critical development of the depth conditions in Greetsiel’s outer depth, which is the cause of the
Dewatering difficulties in the catchment area of the two Siele in Greetsiel gave rise to an investigation by the research centre.
Study in the summer of 1954 May/June
Technically, the mapping of the watt was made by committing
carried out during the dry fall period. In this case,
210 points where qualitative and quantitative animal populations have been studied and recorded;
measured. The quantitative analysis was based on screenings of ¼ m² each at 8 points. The samples were later counted in the laboratory.
