» The Wurster Watt from Solthörn to Dorumer Low
studied biologically and sedimentologically in the summer of 1962. A total of 396 stations were examined.
1272 quantitative investigations were carried out.
The aim of the investigation was to make proposals for protection
to submit to the foreshore edge and to make statements about the
Change tendencies of the watt.
Fauna and sediment show a stable wattage,
which is strongly influenced by the storm surge and with sand
was superimposed. The storm surge is also the cause of the
Decline in one-year vegetation compared to previous years.
The investigation began about five months after the storm surge of February 1962.
