Report: “Environmental Monitoring Kronos Titan – Monitoring (2010)”
Description
«Since 1969, wastewater from TiO2 production has been discharged into the Weser estuary in Bremerhaven. In order to monitor the ecological effects, zoobenthos studies have been carried out at permanent stations above and below the discharge centre since 1975. Since 1985, sediment and zoobenthic samples have been examined for possible enrichment with metals. For vegetation samples, these analyses were carried out from 1985 to 2005.
The results of the 2010 permanent examinations are summarised in this report.”
