Description
On behalf of the water management administrations in Germany, the Federal Institute for Water Studies (BfG) manages the data of reporting on various water-related EC environmental guidelines in the national reporting portal WasserBLIcK. On the basis of this data basis, the BfG provides selected maps and data services in coordination with the Länder Working Group Water (LAWA) in order to meet the content requirements of the INSPIRE Annex topics. The services provided here are based on nationally homogenised datasets and are primarily used to satisfy overview standards. If necessary, the services offered here will be supplemented by corresponding thematic services in a higher spatial and temporal resolution by the further administrative levels in Germany (country, district, district, municipality).
