Indicator Summary Data: Change in Size of Glaciers in BC (1985-2005)
Description
This tabular data set contains the result of an analysis supporting the indicator 'Change in Size of Glaciers in B.C. (1985-2005)' published in [Indicators of Climate Change in British Columbia (2015-16 Update)](http://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/download/216DBDF5B9504E6B9B29D8E6C0CD2849) and by [Environmental Reporting BC](http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/soe/indicators/climate-change/glaciers.html). The data set includes estimates of area of ice coverage for 1985 and 2005 (kilometers squared), percent area change of ice coverage from 1985 to 2005, and estimated glacier volume loss rate from 1985 to 2000 (cubic kilometers per year). Data are provided for British Columbia as well as for each of the seven terrestrial [ecoprovinces in which glaciers occur in British Columbia](https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content?id=80F98E32A7FC45B2AC8F838041CB98A9).
