Discharge points for urban treatment plants (Q2019. Dir 91/271/EEC)
Description
Position of discharge points from treatment plants in accordance with Directive 91/271/EEC on urban waste water treatment. The information on sewage plants, their discharge points and sensitive areas has been forwarded to the European Commission in accordance with the data model specified on the EIONET website http://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/help/UWWTD/UWWTD_613 , and their contents can be found on the website.
The mapping corresponds to the active discharge points (whose data are in force and have not been decommissioned) of the treatment plants reported in the latest monitoring report “Questionnaire 2019” (Q2019) containing status data as of December 2018 of the implementation of Directive 91/271/EEC reported to the European Commission in 2020.
