Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia. Seasonal Average, 2010 (NOAA AVHRR)

Seasonal average of NDVI calculated from NOAA satellite images captured by the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: visible, near-infrared and 3 in thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1000 m. The 2010 seasonal average of NDVI is calculated from monthly averages, grouping December 2009, January and February 2010 in winter; March, April and May 2010 in spring; June, July and August 2010 in summer; September, October and November 2010 in autumn.
