Social urban areas City of Bremen
Description
The Social City Programme is an urban development programme.
It was used between 1999 and 2019 to counter an increasing social spatial divide in German cities. Disadvantaged districts and neighbourhoods with special social, economic and urban problems should be promoted, upgraded and stabilised by the programme in their development.
The social urban areas of the city of Bremen currently include:

Hemelingen
The Swiss Quarter
