Urban waste water treatment; disposal sewage sludge, sewage type
Description
This table contains figures on urban or public sewage treatment plants managed by the water boards. During wastewater treatment, a residual product is created, the sewage sludge. The quantity and destination of the sewage sludge released is shown in this table. The data can be broken down into the following characteristics:
- purification type;
- class of dry matter content of sewage sludge;

The figures in this table are final.

This table has been supplemented by figures for 2022.
When will there be new figures?
As of statistical year 2016, the figures in this table are compiled only once every 2 years. Figures for 2024 will be published in March 2026.
