Boundaries of the regional road agencies of the Loiret — Department of Loiret
Description
This data contains the administrative limits of the 4 regional road agencies in the department of Loiret: Orléans, Sully-sur-Loire, Montargis and Pithiviers.
**Collection context**
Historically, the boundaries of the territorial road agencies were conceived as a result of the decentralisation laws of 1982, where the departmental councils gradually took over the direct management of the staff who, within the DDEs, carried out the tasks falling within their remit, particularly the departmental road.
**Collection method**
The data was created from the common layer of the TOPO® BD. The municipalities have been aggregated to obtain the contours of each territorial road agency.
