Description
SIOSE Andalucía is a cartographic base on land occupation at detail scale (1:10,000) that starts from the integration of different sources of information, updated to 2005 and adjusted to the limits of the property, with the ultimate aim of achieving a unique geometry for the entire territory, which is also useful for the management of it. It is part of the Spanish Land Occupation Information System (SIOSE) project, an initiative of the General State Administration aimed at creating a database on homogeneous national land occupation, at a scale of 1:25,000, with 2005 as a time reference. The implementation of the project is carried out in coordination with the Autonomous Communities, which are responsible for collecting the information. In Andalusia it is a shared project between three Ministries (Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Public Works and Transport), with the CMA being responsible for the coordination of the project in Andalusia.
