Soil compaction (Natural capital)
Description
Risk of soil compaction in the province of Overijssel. Soil properties on the one hand determine the strength of the soil and on the other hand they also determine the extent to which there can be natural recovery capacity. Soil strength, soil load and natural recovery capacity together determine the risk of compaction. More information about this project can be found in Alterra report 2409. This dataset is used in the map "soil" as part of the research into natural capital in Overijssel.
