Industrial waste; waste type, treatment, industry (SBI 2008), 1994-2019
Description
This table provides information on the amount of waste released from the mining, industrial, energy, water and waste management sectors. The waste is broken down by industry by type of waste and treatment method. Industrial waste is classified according to types of waste. The types of waste are classified according to Eural codes aligned with the European Waste Statistics Regulation. The Eural codes are codes for waste as listed in the European Waste List.
This table further distinguishes between chemical and non-chemical waste. The non-chemical waste is further broken down. The commercial waste released shall be recovered or presented for final processing.
Data available from 1994 to 2019.

Changes as of 7 April 2021:
The underlying encodings of the classifications used in this table (Business branch/sectors (SBI 2008) and Useful application and final processing) have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard codes laid down by CBS.
The structure and data of the table have not been adjusted.
