Motor vehicles; demolition, export and other outages, regions, 2000-2021
Description
This table lists Dutch passenger cars and commercial motor vehicles (order cars, lorries, semi-trailer tractors, special vehicles and buses) that were lost during the reporting year because the registration/registration certificate was declared invalid due to demolition, export, or because the vehicles were placed outside the normal registration. The vehicles included in the breakdown are divided by country and province by number and weight.
Vehicles belonging to the outage on 1 January of a given year (e.g. on 1 January 2009) were demolished, exported or placed outside the normal registration in the previous year. These vehicles may have participated in traffic for part of that previous year (e.g. in 2008). The data are based on information from the RDW vehicle register.
