Motor vehicles; demolition, weight class, 2000-2021
Description
This table provides information on vehicle failures by total weight and category of vehicle (passenger cars and company cars/service motor vehicles) and by weight class per vehicle category. This table lists Dutch passenger cars and company cars that failed during the reporting year because the registration/registration certificate was declared invalid due to demolition. The passenger and company cars included in the demolition are broken down by weight class (empty weight). Vehicles belonging to demolition on 1 January of a given year (e.g. on 1 January 2009) were demolished and dismantled in the previous year. These vehicles may have participated in traffic for part of that previous year (e.g. in 2008). The data are based on information from the RDW vehicle register.
