Description
The river basins of the Sava, Drava, Mura and the river basins of the Soča and Adriatic rivers in the Republic of Slovenia are the territorial bases of water management and together form the river basins of the Danube and the Adriatic Sea in the Republic of Slovenia. A water catchment area is the area from which all inland waters flow through streams, rivers or lakes into a river that flows into the sea. A river basin is an area from which all inland waters flow through streams, rivers or lakes into a river or lake.
