Priority Capture Feeding Areas for Potable Water Supply in the Department of Allier
Description
A catchment area (ACA) is demarcated in the territory following hydrological or hydrogeological studies (as applicable: capture of surface water or groundwater) defining the area from which the water supplies a catchment intended for drinking water to populations, or several of such abstractions close to each other.
This layer corresponds to the AAFCs defined as priorities by Prefectural Decree 3060/12 of 19/11/2012. This layer therefore does not contain all AAFCs in the department of Allier. For each AAFC identified as priorities, a Protection Area has been defined.
This layer conforms to the corresponding COVADIS standard and was used to construct the regulatory mapping annexed to the Prefectural Decree.
