Production process; industry and region, national accounts, 1995-2021
Description
This table provides data on the macroeconomic production process by region. Here the production, consumption, added value, the components of added value and the volume of labour of different business units are shown.
The data in this table are classified by region and according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008). The regional division can be chosen from the different parts of the country (North, East, West and South Netherlands), provinces and (disaggregated) COROP areas.
The figures are taken from the regional accounts, the quantitative description of the economic development of the different regions within a country.By linking the figures to the national accounts, they provide a coordinated description of the regional economy and are ideally suited to comparing the results of the various regions.
The amounts in this table are in current prices only.
Data available from: 1995
Status of figures:
The figures for the years 1995 to 2020 are final. Data for the year 2021 are also final with the exception of the variables labour volume employed persons and labour volume employed persons in working years. Due to the late availability of the annual data on the self-employed, an exception is made. These data will not be published definitively until one year later. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.

The Central Bureau of Statistics recently revised the national accounts. New sources, methods and concepts are introduced into the national accounts, so that the picture of the Dutch economy is optimally aligned with all underlying statistics, sources and international guidelines for compiling the national accounts. For more information see section 3.
