Archaeological value map (IKAW) (history)
Description
Indicative map of archaeological values (IKAW). This national file is the result of an arithmetic operation based on a model of the ROB (National Department of Antiquity Soil Research). The starting point for the production of the IKAW is that there is a link between the soil conditions and activities of people in the past, such as arable farming. On this basis, the IKAW has indicated the likelihood of encountering archaeological remains in the execution of plans.
