Traces of World War II (Culture History Compass and OGV, 2010) (history)
Description
Flat elements of the cultural-historical main structure for the province of Drenthe concerning selected traces of the WWII. It is the Havelte airport, built in 1942. The O-W oriented runway, now a wide sand path, is still clearly recognizable as well as 5 earthen bumps, used at the time in the construction of a hangar towards Darp.
