Description
Flat elements of the cultural-historical main structure for the province of Drenthe concerning selected forests from before 1850. For example, the Asserbos has been selected a very old forest, transformed into a star forest at the end of the 18th century, the star forest of Mensinge, an ornamental forest belonging to the estate; The Norgerholt, the oldest use forest in Drenthe; the Zwanemeer forest north of Gieten, a striking oak complex; The Strubben at Schipborg.
