Description
The regional household accounts in this table describe the primary and secondary distribution of the household sector’s income account.
These accounts can be used to make interregional comparisons of the main transactions involving households.
The household sector includes all natural persons residing in the Netherlands for more than one year, regardless of their nationality. In addition to persons living alone or in families, persons in nursing homes, old people's homes, prisons, boarding schools, etc. are also included in households. If the persons included in the households have their own business, this business is also included in the households. This is the case for the self-employed and homeowners.

Data for the years 2015 to 2021 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.

The Central Bureau of Statistics recently revised the national accounts. New sources, methods and concepts are introduced into the national accounts, so that the picture of the Dutch economy is optimally aligned with all underlying statistics, sources and international guidelines for compiling the national accounts. For more information see section 3.
