REDIAM. WMS HIC 7210-0 Cladium mariscus calcareous peatlands with Caricion davallianae species (*)
Description
WMS Service corresponding to Habitat of Priority Community Interest 7210_0 that characterize the calcareous marsh areas with Cladium mariscus and species of Magnocaricion elatae. Habitat of water margins, flowing or stagnant, dominated by helophyte herbaceous plants (plants with part of the stem submerged in water, but aerial inflorescences), which is characterized by the presence of Cladium mariscus (masiega), which can be accompanied by other species of edges of water tables, such as the reed (Phragmites australis), smaller ciperaceas such as Carex elata and C. hispida, juncáceas and poaceas, being the density of the masiega very variable, from a few individuals scattered among other species of swamp areas or peatlands, to almost monospecific and very dense masegares.
