Vulnerability Indicators on the TRI of Noirmoutier/Saint-Jean-de-Monts (2019)
Description
As part of a partnership with five EPCIs, Cerema Ouest has developed a local vulnerability repository in the area at significant risk of flooding (TRI) of Noirmoutier/Saint-Jean-de-Monts, particularly exposed to the risks of marine submersion and coastal erosion. This local benchmark is divided into 41 indicators, 39 of which have been calculated to illustrate the specificities of this coastal territory (exposure of the population to the dune submersion, number of people present in the precautionary band of coastal risk prevention plans, number of buildings exposed to erosion alone...). These indicators should enable the five IRR EPCIs concerned to have a shared vision of vulnerability and follow it to assess and adapt public flood prevention policies.
This resource characterises all 39 indicators. Each is then the subject of a description and a resource of its own.
